It’s a sunny day, we’re going on vacation
We’re going to see the beaches and the trees
We’re going to camp out under the stars
We’re going to be a family

Every summer we like to go somewhere different
Sometimes it’s the ocean and the sand
But we also like to hike up in the mountains
Pitch a tent down by the stream right on the land

Vacations are all about the family,
Swimming and hiking outdoors
And when you’re tired you sit around a campfire
Laughing and eatin s’mores

It won’t be very long until we get there,
I hope there’ll still be time to take a swim
The lake is cold this early in the season
But I don’t care I’m surely jumping in
