My Brother was just 3 years old.
He was an-gry during dinner
So he banged his fist down, on his plate
And the plate, lifted up
And it flew, through the air----- CRASH!

I break things when I'm mad.
And when I break them I feel bad (really bad).
Some-time it's just an accident.
Then I feel mad, bad and sad (really sad).

VERSE 1a
I had the glass tight in my hands.
I would wash it. Make it all clean.
But it fell (but it fell)
On the floor (on the floor)

VERSE 1b
You asked Mom to play but she said "No
I'm on the pho-ne." So then you whin-ed
And then the phone (then the phone)
hit the wall (hit the wall?!)

Chorus

VERSE 2a
Sometimes you break more than a cup
Or a plate, or a phone
Something worse (something worse)
Like your head (like your head?!)

VERSE 2b
So when riding a bike, a skateboard or horse
Wear a helmet, don't be a fool
'Cause getting hurt (getting hurt)
Isn't cool (isn't cool).

So why is it that we all en joy
stor-ies of things that break and annoy?
And watching them with our own eyes,
Always fills us with such surprise? So....

Imagine a show, on TV,
"Ex-treme Brea-king" where no one gets hurt.
But each (each week),
big things break (BIG BREAKS!)

VERSE 3b
(spoken) This week our show, is all about
(sung) Drop-ping a 2 ton weight on a house.
(I sure hope it's not my house)
It's not your house.
